Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Tati Hayton is a Special Makeup Effects Artist, Licensed Esthetician and Certified Makeup Artist. She has been in the makeup industry since 2014 and began working in film in 2018. She now resides in Atlanta, Georgia freelancing in tv/film, music videos, and commercial work. She has a love for all things horror, fantasy, and science fiction. Her passion and talents really shine through her SFX makeup. Her love for it started at a young age and as she got older she took notice of all the artistry and hard work that goes into creating all these different characters through makeup. October is always a busy month for her! For years, she enjoyed being the house makeup artist for a popular haunted house in her hometown.

 

     Tati didn't think beauty makeup would be in her realm of work until she was approached with the opportunity to be the house makeup artist for a play at a local theater.  After that successful experience, she became intrigued and very interested in furthering her skills in beauty makeup. She flew to LA in 2015 to attend Ruby Makeup Academy to further her makeup skills.  Her instructor, Lipstick Nick, who has worked with Jeffree Star, Pentatonix, Todrick Hall, and "RuPaul's Drag Race," to name a few, has taught her the hottest and latest trends. Tati had the amazing opportunity to be the makeup effects artist for an Emmy award-winning rapper for his music video as well as creating "disaster lashes" for Anne Heche for a feature film.

 

     Tati understands the importance of following direction and achieving the look that is desired. She is unique and extremely versatile in her field. From Halloween makeup, to straight looks or beauty, Tati has you covered with her array of skills and talents!
